The film was entirely shot on location in Monte Carlo using cars, cameras and billboards from 1964. Absolutely no stock footage was used in the making of this film.

The authentic and iconic vintage look of the spot was achieved as it was shot on 16mm film on Arri and Bolex's but also through clever and seamless VFX techniques. These ingredients make the audience truly believe that they're looking at footage from the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.

The VFX artists had to carefully remove and replace all traces of the modern world, including road markings, buildings, lighting and signs to ensure the most seamless image could be created.

The actual Rally took place in Winter and the film was shot in the height of Summer meaning CG snow had to be added to the race scenes as well as individuals breath to maximise authenticity.
