Charles Dance is a world-renowned British actor known for playing villainous and powerful characters. Most recently he has been acclaimed for his role as Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones. Charles also has a deep love for poetry and a lot of experience reading in verse.

His voice was chosen for the role of Nature in our campaign as it has the depth, age and menacing growl that was necessary to make the read of the poem so powerful. The effect is chilling for the listener whilst also giving inspiration to the winter athletes.

NATURE: I am the bitter rival,

The fearsome force you’ll blame,

I will thwart your every hope,
