To the list of things that can really put strain on a marriage, like kids and money, let’s now add slow internet from the phone company.

One minute you’re an evil vampire happily leading your team of space warriors through Devil’s Notch, the next you’re a bad husband using up all the bandwidth while your wife tries to get work done.

Blame the phone company. if their internet wasn’t so slow (or if you had Spectrum. Just saying.) you could all chop, kick, video chat or work away to your heart’s content. It’s another example of how truly evil phone companies are. Yes, even compared to creatures who would suck your blood in half a second. Phone Companies bad. Spectrum good.

The trick here was to take these tropey, 30's and 40's movie monsters and dimensionalize them for the modern world. So we gave them everyday problems and tried to play the real believable emotions under the surface of the scenes for each of them. We tried to update the characters through modern takes on their make up and wardrobe, accenting each character with some touches that evoked the cliche but also kept a foot in the modern world.
